Is it Chicaaahgo, or Chicawgo?

Everyone knows that people in Chicago have a distinct accent. I have always associated it with the exagerated "A" accent, spoken throughout the Great Lakes region, but I have also heard people pronounce it "Chicawgo". I was shocked, is that the real Chicago accent? Or is it the Chiaaahgo one?>
