So the days of cinema marquees in Chicago are over?

When I was last in Chicago I saw a lot of neighborhood theatres, as well as the ones on Randolph, with Marquees.

But it seems like some of the newer cinemas, ie AMC Theatres, doesn't use them. Now it's not a huge deal, but I think AMC should do something a bit more "urban" and attractive when it builds a cinema complex in the city and have sidewalk canopy Marquees. For example, perhaps a modern interpretation of the classic marquee would be ideal for the Streeterville AMC cinemas.

Has the whole marquee motif been abandoned in Chicago?>
