Okay, well I went to the sales center of 340 On the Park this afternoon. It was nice, they had a nice model, and I got the chance to ask a few questions. The building is going to be 62-storys and 640' (The number of floors and the height won't be changing) The building is going to have between 340-345 residential units, about 150 of those are reserved, which is bit more than 1/3. In order to reserve a unit the standard seems to be 10% down. I was told that they hope to break ground before years end, and hope to be completed possibly by the middle of 2007 early 2008. The building is going to have a rigid concrete frame, with a steel supergrid every 5 floors. The building will have a glass and metal facade. And of course it's going to be LEED Certified, the first residential building in Chicago to do so. Here are a couple of model shots View looking to the north View looking to the south View looking to the west View looking to the northwest That's about all I got on this one.>
