A battleship for Chicago?

I read an article a few weeks ago about how Waukegan was trying to raise funds to tow an old decomisioned battleship to use as an attraction for its downtown. I was thinking that New York has something like that with its old aircraft carrier (forget the name) so why not Chicago? It could maybe be parked on the northern side of Navy Pier and be another good downtown attraction. We have the old German U-Boat at the MSI but I think that Chicago could do with two big ships to show off as a attractions. Has Chicago ever talked about doing this? Thoughts?>
