Damn Cook County Property Taxes!

This sucks ass! I just recieved my property tax bill for my Albany Park bungalow, 4200 freaking dollars for 6 months! That's almost a 60% increase since last year! God Damn 3 year re-assessments! Has anyone else seen such a dramatic increase this year? If this keeps up, lower and middle income bracket groups will flee to the collar counties. I'm telling you. I don't want to see what the taxes will be for my condo in the South Loop next year!>
