Chicago Hotels

Hey guys, I'm planning on going to Chicago for a couple days and was hoping for hotel suggestions. Looking for either one downtown that is reasonably priced at least one that is easily accessible to downtown by subway/train. Since we're only there for 3 days, we're going to have to squeeze as much as possible without a car. Any recommendations of places to go, both the touristy stuff & also off the trail places.
